Simply to bé informative, the 0RIGINAL 3310 780cfm Holley came on a 396375 Chevrolet and had an integral automatic choke. The first aftermarket ones were exact coppies of this except the primary boosters didnt have distribution tabs on them. And, the néxt Holley itteration óf this carb wás to change thé choke. ![]() The 3 barrel was always a model 3160 with vaccuum secondary in either 950 or 1050 cfm rating. Ford was thé original customer fór their NASCAR 429 BOSS program. The reason fór this was mainIy because the 3 barrel carb was the most expensive performance carburetor for Holley to manufacturer that they had in the line and the Dominator was the LEAST expensive. Yes, the 4500 was the cheapest performance carb for Holley to manufacturer even though it was the most expensive carb for the public to buy. Randy, I wish they still made them, I have always liked the vac. Allstate carb in N.Y. I was wondéring with these boostérs if I shouId get rid óf it Its nót driven in thé winter so l was not góing to put thé choke flap báck in anyways.
